ELLIE UPDATE 7.17.2007:
Ellie has gained plenty of weight back, looks Marvelous and is under saddle. She thought it might be wise to rear when asked to trot. I imagine, due to a formerly Bad Rider who must have bounced all over her thin back. So we have been patiently working on this problem and this past week, Ellie decided that perhaps riding might be fun once more. She is willing to trust us on this, and now picks up a trot a lot more happily. She's a lovely mare and will be a great addition to the program once she realises that not All humans have no clue about how to care for a horse. She's becoming very loving and kind, but still cribs while inside her stall if someone has forgotten ( Me) to put her cribbing strap on. Other wise, she's just super.
Ellie is for sale to a quiet intermediate rider.... Hopefully a teenager or adult who is a little more than beginner status. She is sweet as can be now, and ready for a good home where she can be the Only Horse.
