Riding Lessons Available
We offer one hour private lessons for the beginning rider. We also cater to those adults who are getting back into riding after time off. Learning to ride at WoodFinn is relaxing, and FUN !
Enjoyable, relaxing lessons with a qualified instructor. Our lessons are not like the average ones... we teach 'Horsemanship' as well as learning to ride. This means that you will not only be riding, but learning about horse parts, diseases, soundnesses and unsoundnesses,etc. Not to mention, HOW to put all that 'stuff' on your horse in the proper and correct manner. Tacking up is just as important as riding !
We have two rings in one: a riding arena, and when the two side gates are opened, we have a 1/8th mile jog track as well.The lesson horses are all incredibly safe and quiet, but they ARE horses.
You will be taught how to control situations so they stay under control,learn to face problems a horse may think of trying, thus becoming a wise and happy horse person.
